You’ll thoroughly enjoy the sight of the Harley’s sleek lines and powerful performance, and your ears will prick up to the deep, throbbing sound. And when you’re aboard this iconic motorcycle, you’ll be grinning with delight at this fabulous experience. Oh, and be prepared for your 15 minutes of fame (well… slightly longer than this, depending on the length of your tour), as people find it virtually impossible to NOT look when they hear the distinctive roar of the Harley’s throttle along the Gold Coast streets. 
Gold Coast Harley Davidson tours range from a 30-60 minute ride through to a full day’s outing. There’s something to fit every budget …and there are no limits on who may take a ride. The route for shorter tours may follow the esplanades of the stunning Gold Coast beaches, taking in Currumbin and Palm Beach to Burleigh Heads, Broadbeach, and Surfers Paradise. The tour may follow Marine Parade at Main Beach, where you’ll see some interesting sights – the Southport Yacht Club, Marina Mirage, two five star hotels – the Sheraton Mirage, and the Palazzo Versace, and Sea World theme park. When you reach the end of Marine Parade, you’ll have arrived at ‘The Spit’, with the entrance to the Nerang River on one side, and the beginning of the Gold Coast’s long, open beaches on the other. You’ll get a close-up view of Wavebreak Island, and see the fringes of South Stradbroke Island, a popular day tour destination. 
The Gold Coast Hinterland is a favourite destination for the slightly longer Gold Coast tours, and your Harley Davidson experience may take in the panoramic sights from Tamborine Mountain, Canungra, and Hinze Dam, or several spectacular rainforest areas in the Lamington National Park or Springbrook National Park. For those who wish to explore further afield, a half day tour or full day tours may include northern NSW tourist destinations such as Mt Warning near Murwillumbah, or Byron Bay; or further north of the Gold Coast in Queensland, to Noosa Heads on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. If you’d really like a trip with a difference, take an evening ride from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and see the beautiful night lights of both cities. On the highway to and from Brisbane, you’ll cruise at speeds of 110 kph. What a blast! Or, you can hire a Harley on an hourly basis. They’re not cheap, but the longer the hire period, the cheaper it gets. If you’re looking for a full day’s ride, you could find this option to be good value. As you would expect, conditions do apply – check with tour operators for further details.
